Terms
Last updated: 3 November 2026.
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern your use of this website, which is operated by The Lower Limb Clinic (“we”, “us”, “our”). Our details are in Section 12.
By using this website you accept these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of them, you must not use the website.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this website to arrange treatment.
2. Information on this website is not medical advice
The content of this website is general information about our services and about osteoarthritis of the knee and Ostenil Plus injections. It is not medical advice and does not replace an assessment by a qualified healthcare professional.
Whether a treatment is suitable for you will be decided only after a consultation with us, and treatment will only go ahead with your informed consent. Results vary between people, and nothing on this website is a guarantee of any outcome.
If you think you have a medical emergency, call 999. For urgent advice that is not an emergency, contact NHS 111 or your GP. Do not use the contact form for urgent medical problems.
3. Our services and prices
Prices and service details on this website were correct when published. They may change, and additional travel costs may apply, as described on the website. The price for your treatment will be confirmed with you before it goes ahead.
Contacting us through this website does not create a patient relationship. That begins when we agree to assess or treat you.
4. Copyright and intellectual property
Copyright © 2026 The Lower Limb Clinic. We, together with our licensors, own all the copyright and other intellectual property rights in this website and its content, and all those rights are reserved.
You may view pages in a web browser and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided the printing is not systematic or excessive. Unless you own or control the relevant rights, you must not republish, sell, rent, sub-license, redistribute or otherwise exploit material from this website for commercial purposes, or edit or modify it.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use this website:
- in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairs its performance, availability, accessibility or security;
- in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
- to hack, tamper with, probe or test the vulnerability of the website, or to circumvent its security;
- to copy, store, host, transmit or distribute any malicious software;
- to carry out systematic or automated data collection, such as scraping or data harvesting, without our express written consent; or
- to send us spam or material that is unlawful, offensive, abusive or misleading.
You must ensure that all information you give us through the website is true, accurate and complete. Do not send us information about another person unless you have their permission.
6. Third-party services and links
This website uses third-party services, including a form provider for our contact form and a hosting provider. Those services have their own terms and privacy notices, which we do not control. See our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy for details.
7. Availability and warranties
We do not warrant or represent that the information on this website is complete, accurate or up to date, that the website will operate without fault, or that it will remain available. We may suspend, restrict, change or stop publishing the website at any time, without notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all representations and warranties relating to the website and its use.
8. Limitations and exclusions of liability
Nothing in these terms will limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. This includes any rights you have as a patient or consumer under the law.
Subject to that, and because this website is provided free of charge, we will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it, including loss of profits, data or goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss, or any loss arising from events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in this section applies to the treatment we provide to you, which is covered by our agreement with you and by the law that applies to healthcare professionals.
9. Breaches of these terms
If you breach these terms, or we reasonably suspect that you have, we may, without prejudice to our other rights, issue warnings, restrict or block your access to the website, and take legal action.
10. Variation
We may revise these terms from time to time. The revised terms apply to your use of the website from the date they are published here.
11. General
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another person. If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest continues in effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us relating to the use of this website. A person who is not a party to these terms has no rights to enforce them. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer to bring proceedings in another part of the United Kingdom.
